About Dr. Lee

The physician who built the practice

Dr. Henry K. Lee is an interventional pain and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician, and the Medical Director and CEO of Integrative Sports and Spine. He has more than 16 years of experience in musculoskeletal and sports medicine, and in pain management.

He earned his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2009, completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami, and finished an Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Board certified in both fields, he offers a full spectrum of care, from outpatient treatment through inpatient rehabilitation.

Dr. Lee played football and ran track at Macalester College, so he knows first hand what an injury costs an active person and how long the way back can feel. That is what led him to sports medicine and rehabilitation, and to a practice built on helping patients of every age get their quality of life back.

Spinal injections

Injections placed at the level of the spine that is generating the pain.

Nerve blocks

Anesthetic placed on a specific nerve to interrupt the pain signal and help confirm where the pain starts.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

An injection prepared from a concentrated sample of the patient's own blood platelets.

Regenerative medicine

Treatments aimed at supporting the body's own repair of tendon, ligament and joint tissue.

Non-invasive pain management

Managing pain without an incision, on its own or alongside a procedure.
